Bach - Wo soll ich fliehen hin [BWV 5] - New College, Oxford

I played the Zugtrompete (a trumpet with a single slide) and a trumpet in low B-flat at A = 415 Hz for a performance of Johann Sebastian Bach’s Wo soll ich fliehen hin [BWV 5] with the Choir of New College, Oxford under their Director of Music, Robert Quinney. We performed the cantata as part of a Sunday service in New College Chapel, and the service also included readings in German and Lutheran

Bach - Cantatas 62, 63, 110 & 243 - Luxembourg & Budapest

When I was a student at the Royal College of Music I proposed a series of classes (in 2011) that would be organised and directed by postgraduate students from the Historical Performance department. Since I had proposed the idea, I had the job of arranging the inaugural class and I could choose the repertoire myself. The Church is near the county border, close to Braunston and Daventry in Northamptonshire. The presence of St Peter's Church in Wolfhampcote is noted in the Domesday Book and the oldest parts of the current church building date from

Solomon’s Knot - Nikolaikirche - Leipzig Bachfest 2016

The baroque collective Solomon’s Knot performed on the second day of Leipzig’s Bachfest, giving a concert on Saturday, 11th of June 2016 in the Nikolaikirche. The singers performed the entire concert from memory and the conductorless ensemble wowed the Leipzig audience with what the Leipzig Bachfest described as an ‘outstandingly vivid’ performance. The response from the audience was overwhelming
